Thats not Kissimmee is it?

jlparsons - 24/1/07 at 04:53 PM

Sweet. I thought it had a bit of a WWII look about it. I got about ten hours in an chipmunk once as an RAF cadet when I was young, seeing that vid has bought it all back. Love to do that again some day.

So - locost airoplane anyone? Piper cub replica perhaps, car engine? Very common project in the states...

Yep, Dad learned to fly there 3 years ago, so he knew they were there.

Yeah, mastering the Harvard was the last step before you were given your Hurricane / Spitfire.

My Dad's aerobatic Auster has a Chipmunk engine in it, a whole 145 hp from a 9 litre engine
