
my next project ofter the indy and a trike (both nearly finished) will be house maintinance than a dax cobra replica.

I think ther might be, if not the clue might be in the the website name.
very truw but theres westfields, mk's dax etc all on this site as well as locosts and we all get on ok most of the time,
do you think we are below cobra builders >?
I would love to be one but they are too dear for me sadly.....one day!!

I built a sumo with the father in law about 4 years back, Not the easyest of things to do but worth all the effort in the end. Also not as expensive
as you might imagine, even with the big V8 and leather as far as the eye can see!

my mate pete is building a cobra - in the same garage as me!
QUITE a difference in size
i think we guestimated his engine (5.7 chevvy small block with auto box) alone will weigh the same as my complete (one day) viento !
I think I would go for the sumo rather than the Dax. I aways thought their car was well-developed even in the early days and good value for money.
