Have you seen this developing story:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6338063.stm

didn't know it was the DVLA, an odd target.
Like most of the public he/she is obviously pissed off that the government are trying to screw us over...
or perhaps that's what they want you to think...
if he / she doesn't like the way thiscountry is going, simple solution is to leave, not try and evict retribution.
all that aside, it's wrong, and I work for an OEM and we've already been warned to be more vigilent about suspicious packages.

someones got a bad case of road rage
What amazes me is that someone at the DVLA would be opening padded envelopes after the C-charge people and speeding ticket places were bombed in the 2
previous days.
Stupid and will just give the anti-car people ammunition.
Maybe pissed off waiting for his SVA application!

disgruntled motorist? thats about 15 million suspects then.
id leave this country today if A- i wasnt in the middle of building a car. and B- i didnt have a drugs charge on my record. this county is a poo pan
and has been for a while. i dont need to say this cos everyone knows.
What is the betting they will introduce a stupid new "safety" policy where they don't open anything for two weeks after it arrives to
see if it blows up! Given the verbal abuse I was given by a DVLA employee yesterday I can see how the temptation was there. . . .
Caber
or they put them through a shredder to see if it was a bomb...
if you think about it, the bomb must have been constricted extrememly well to survive handling by the Post Office and still work
hmmm, will the letter box slots return like they did when the IRA were doing this?
It's ok to make a protest but this is taking it a bit too far.
