Have a bit of a soft spot for the good old escorts. Its just the sound of those webber carbs

The sound of a big set of carbs growling down the A47 bypass!

And possibly the car that ended it all with Tiovonens fatal accident (combined with several spectator deaths and other serious driver injuries). Got to love the sound of a supercharger + turbo combo though. 0-60 in 2.5 secs...on gravel!

yup, those where the days. Going sideways more then going in a straight line just because of the power and the tyres that were nothing compared to what they have now.

Funny is that the sound of the porsche is a pussy sound compared to the audi or lancia.
