yip bo%$ocks

How many times have we seen magnets on the fuel lines, funny wirily things for you inlets and all the other weird and ridiculous sudo-science contraptions & additives.

I’m holding out for the cold fusion in a can fuel additive that will let me drive on a thimble full of fuel while spewing out loads of pure air...

I'm just glad to see someone is doing something about it all

I'm always wary of a product that claims to clean (despite having gone through the fiery environment of a combustion chamber) everything in site.....

They're saying it cleans the injectors, valves, lambda sensors, exhaust etc etc....

Does it also clean the pavement and take low level pollutants out of the atmosphere whilst simultaneously rebuilding the ozone layer?!?!?

Sounds too good to be true....

macnab - 16/2/07 at 01:23 PM

put your mouth over the exhaust and it cleans your teeth also

Peteff - 16/2/07 at 01:45 PM

just my 2p worth ive had a car on test that has failed on emmisions with the co at2.5% on fast idle and used a bottle similar to that and the fast idle c0 was so low that my machine barely registered it. the hydrocarbon reading was within the limit before and i expect that the readings would be back to normal once the fuel that had been "treated" had been used . the customwer bought the car back for re test and added the bottle to a nearly empty tank and i did a bet test before he put the stuff in, there must be some chemical which masks or neutralizes the co in this stuff cant remember what it was called but i cant deny the results

I've used Injector cleaner in the past which has reduced emissions and improved idle and driveability . I did back to back tests before and after so I'm certain it works

Confused but excited. - 16/2/07 at 08:05 PM

The only experience of anything like this was some stuff called simply 'Fuel Additive' from those nice American Amway people ( I had a mate selling it) and it did exactly what it said on the bottle and more.
I had a new L reg Astra that only did 28mpg, how crap is that for a 1.4 injection engine and a small car. With the additive I got 50mpg.
So you can imagine how weed off I was when they stopped selling it!
The Astra went.

heh - "A contaminated Catalytic Convertor causes back pressure in the exhaust system resulting in loss of power"

Erm a loss of back pressure will cause a loss of power.
