hi all, i'm looking to get an open canoe for the summer but as usual i can't afford a new one so looking for something cheap.
A damaged one would be ideal as i can fix it no problems, i would love to build one but i don't have the time really and i don't have the space in the garage as its full of car and car bits.
Does anyone have or know of a cheap or broke canoe, about 16' long that i can buy?

That second seems to be to some Kayaks from the picture (despite the description).

Third link looks good though rather shorter than requested.

If you aren't wildlife spotting think about a Grumman aluminium canoe if you can find one (none on ebay right now) - indestructible and look better a little battered

There's a 16' grp one thats described as a bit tatty which looks like it could be a good fixer-upper, think i'll keep my eye on that one.

I've been warned off the ali ones in the past. In summer they get HOT & (can't remember which either) aren't as tough as wooden / GRP ones or weigh a lot more!

Never ridden in one but i've been warned a few times.
