I went to Oklahoma once, when I was stationed in Houston in 1993, but all I can remember is that it was flat, and had lots of corn.

When I told my mom on the phone that I'd been to Oklahoma, she asked me "so what theatre was it showing at then?

But do yourself a favour, if you can, and go see a v8 sprintcar racemeet on a dirt oval -
really spectacular, more cars than track

I've been about 50 miles north of there to Ponca city. It's not quite flat, a little semi-rolling countryside.
Looking at your location and the big industry in and around Cushing I'd guess you are in the oil business?

You won't find it very thrilling, but you are pretty close to Tusla which will have some decent nightlife etc.
