I dont know why, but photos like this make me soil myself!!!

looks a bit like my engine!!!!..................... i wish!
I can see that the wishbones are bolted directly onto the gearbox....
Is there a chassis under the g-box supporting it, or is the engine and g-box simply supported from the cockpit bulkhead?
Are there any production g-boxes that allow mounting wishbones straight onto the box?
Its a Konigsegg engine, supercharged too.
The car is a LeBlanc Mirabeau, will get some pics up I took in France when I saw it and met the creator at Dijon in France.
Looks a bit similar to F1 cars, in as far as the engine/gearbox is used as part of the chassis. Regards, Ray
very interesting, must be very light weight
Just over 800kg and over 700bhp! Should have interesting performance!
Its basically a leMans car for the road, but with more power!
They do one called the Caroline which is based on a group C racer.
Data Sheet
The only production gearboxes that are fully stressed (suspension attached to it) are on low volume super cars such as the Enzo and Koenigsegg.

thats a pretty amazing power to weight ratio then
most (modern) bikes use the engine and gearbox as a stressed part of the frame/chassis... I know it's not the same as above but for stress levels through these components should suggest that it's not out of the realm of other gearboxes???
Unfourntunately he did have a spare helmet with him in Dijion otherwise he said he would have taken me out. I tried to borrow one, but had no luck. I
was contemplating borrowing one of our drivers helmets, but they wouldnt have been too pleased!

I have a HUGE amount of admiration for people who can fit all those bits together in such a tiny space, AND make it look tidy!
