happy birthday to you, I unfortunately am quickly cruising towards the dreaded 40. I'm a firm believer though in it's how old you feel mentally so in my case I don't know why I'm building a car as I'm too young to drive it as I still act like I'm 10

Happy Birthday! Turned 32 myself yesterday.... somehow the change from 31 to 32 seems rather more significant than most other years.... Perhaps its cos its my last birthday of unmarriedness (or at least that's the plan!!)! Oh well, I'll hopefully be around in another decade to see how the 40s feel

Happy Birthday but don't be too glum.

I'm 57 and wouldn't give you a thanks to be 30 again - I love my retirement and the time it gives me to enjoy my cars, SWMBO etc etc. And physically I'm fitter than I was at 40.

You can see from that that I hated work. Of course I still work occasionaly at jobs that interest me but that is by choice to retain my technical skills and not force of circumstance.
