Herchelle Gibbs just hit 36 in one 6 ball over

- new world cup record - he gets $1M from Johny Walker to give to charity.
Is anybody out there interested in the World Cup Cricket?
looks like no one else will beat that then

Not unless they do it twice in one game

No ball, wide etc are counted in an 'extras' column where those are collected and don't add to a players score.
It is possible, though unlikely on a test pitch, to get more though. If the player run's 7 or more times off a ball that doesn't get a four or six. Happens occasionally when there is a tree on the field and the ball gets caught in the branches.
