I know its an old post and he should have learned a bit more by now, but if he did not know what it was, should he really be unbolting things from his car?????

Atleast the blokes giving it a go. He'll only learn by doing those jobs!

(creating holes in sumps) and changing a sump!

saying that i to have needed to welded up my sump once

its true that his best is that one...

atleast he doesn't say that the engine is in a painfull place to change a bulb or something

Lack of knowledge in a given field doesn't mean lack of intelligence. He probably knows more than I did when I started my car. He needs to buy some books and read a lot of forum threads.
