Ive just recieved the email below from RDF announcing the new series of Scrapheap Challenge.

"Hi Darren

Just to let you know... And hopefully you'll be kind enough to post this on your forum and forward to all your friends...
But after hours, days, weeks, and months of waiting for it, we are finally in a position to reveal that the ninth series of 'Scrapheap Challenge' will start transmitting from this Sunday 15th April, at 17:40 on Channel 4.

Channel Four have decided to transmit the series in two parts. Programmes 1 to 8 will be transmitted weekly from Sunday 15th April until Sunday 3rd June with programmes 9 to 16 from Sunday 14th October to Sunday 2nd December. It sounds strange but there is a natural split. All of the 'heats' are transmitted in the first run, while the rest of the competition follows in the second run along with the specials and the Roadshows.

So please tune in and tell your friends, because at the moment, there's been almost zero publicity of all this!
