Well men, today is Yorkshire day

The day that Englands largest and best county celebrates it's heritage.

To the rest of you - tough luck!

You can't say things like that!
You have to be politicaly correct!
I certainly hope you are not flying the English flag!!

You'll find Lincolnshire is the biggest county since the government deemed Yorkshire too stupid to have one county council rule it all and split it up.

stephen_gusterson - 1/8/03 at 10:21 PM

what do you do on yorkshire day?

Yorkshire pudding tossing,

or the normal deviant sexual practices ;0)

Been in Yorkshire all day, never noticed anything special here.

Or was it that all hte rest of the country pretended to be Yorkshire today just to confuse any american visitors?

When is Lancashire day - that will be worth celebrating!!

chrisg - 2/8/03 at 06:37 PM

There isn't one

Cheers

Chris

Ah! Kettering! I've never met anyone from Kettering, even though my parents lived in Pipewell Hall for a while.
They only had good things to say about the dump. I asked my father what he thought of it as a whole. He replied "It ought to be filled in."
