Thin rope- whats it called ? ripcord
BenB - 29/4/07 at 05:44 PM

Dear all!

I'm looking for some thin cord or rope to tie my half-hood to the rear of the car (rather like the Softbitsforsevens one)....
but I can't find the right stuff. My local haberdashery place has black cord but its just twisted not braided....
I thought it was called ripcord but trying to search for that doesn't seem to get me anywhere....
Any ideas??

Cheers

Army surplus type places call it 'Para-cord' IIRC.
Boaty type places also sell it.
