Brddy super monkey boy. Gone and flipping got impetigo. Means I don't have the house to myself for the next couple of days whilst he is off school.

He is so upset that he can only sit at home watching DVDs, playing on the 360 and his dual screen....NOT

Not a valid excuse IMHO if he is fit for vid games he can be employed with some wet and dry paper shining something up! Get him out there in the garage to help you out!

I had my 88 year old mother at the lock up on monday polishing up my ally scuttle, well she said she wanted to see what I was up to and lend a hand

My 83 year old mother in law is not quite as subtle but available for demolition work

Bloody hell, how old are you lot?! My Mum's only 45!

It took us this long to afford this stuff... the world's economy has changed somewhat, allowing pups like you the chance to do things we had to wait for.

Sh!t Simon, now I feel old... I'm nearly as old as your mum!

RazMan - 10/5/07 at 11:07 AM

Just consider yourself lucky you little scallywag

Jud, did you not know I'm only 23 then?
Mum and Dad are 45 and 46 IIRC! Even my Gran's only 78!!
Is does always seems a bit odd at the meets, when everyone's middle (ish ) aged and then me and the missus are early 20's still.

Pah - the "yoof" of today!

You will soon work out that middle age is something you never reach. Whenever you get to the age you used to think was "middle aged" you always come up with some reason as to why that age should change to something a little further away.

SWMBO usually uses the "people are living a lot longer now, so I haven't reached middle aged yet" line.

I am 22, at least for another coule of months. My parents are slightly older than yours though. Mum's now 45 and dad's 52.

Still keep telling people I am 21....oops.

Flak, I know what you mean, I keep forgetting wether I'm 22 or 23! Looks at petrol stations are fun, as I pull in clamber out, take the helmet off, and people are slightly bemused to realise I'm not a bit older! Does help that I'm 6'3" though!

I just like the look on the faces of the barry boys I was at high school with when i give my car a blast down the road

Makes their fiestas and corsas look/sound a bit tame, and mine probably cost less too

DIY Si - 14/5/07 at 09:06 PM

Yup, the local chavs seem to be a bit scared of driving anywhere near mine! I wonder why?! They do tend to slow a fair bit too! Having said that, there's an old woman (mid 70's) across the way who came out one day as I was warming it up. I assumed she was coming over to have a go, but actually wanted a chat about it, as her and her husband thought it was great!! Had another woman asked me if it had a bike engine, as she swore blind to her husband it did, but he told her she was being stupid! That went down well when I saw them in the pub that week end!
