need a diaphragm for my water heater, anyone keep them or tell me where i can get 1?
You'll need a new boiler, it'll be about 4 grand. I'm not a real plumber but I know a few.
yours, Pete.
Conrod lives in Surrey - be realistic....
You got a make/type for this boiler? Have you tried The Plumb centre or online?
Blimey Hayes is in Surrey now john, your council tax is going to go through the roof mate.
Middlesex ain't it? Still foreign to us Northerners eh Mark!!. What kind of heater is it and where does the diaphragm fit. Is it part of the gas valve?
Mark's got no excuse, he's a Southern transplant...
its a main medway, the diaphragm is the one lifted by the water when you turn the tap on and then it lets the gas through, ive replaced it a few years ago but the guy i got it off has moved,so if ya got 1 or can tell me where i can as i couldnt get one last tiim not a plumber registered with nasa or summat
John,
A mate of mine in Ruislip should be able to help If you still need it. Let me know and I'll e-mail you his number.
Regards, Ian.
as long as his name isnt paul jacobs, cheers Ian
for peteff taken from the "junior encylopedia of knowledge" Hayes,in the county of Middlesex, inhabited mainly by vagrants of eastern european or north african origin,to the west are the rolling plains of buckinghamshire, the south the toxic industrial wasteland of slough,to the east is the "badlands"of london and the north is watford,of witch little is known.
and long may it remain so.
yours, Pete.
