marcjagman - 20/5/07 at 06:12 PM

They had 2 on ebay, one kit and the one they used on video but they reckon they may be able to scrape one together for £1400. Will it be worth for the last ever!!!

Yeah but have you seen how much Austin Allegros and Maestros and old Skodas fetch these days after all those bad reports of yesteryear ?

Remember having a look at one last year at Newark with Rusty, not impressed I'm afraid....

blakep82 - 20/5/07 at 08:16 PM

i bought some stuff from lolocost, who i beleive are connected with robinhood. not the best quality parts. did the job right enough, and low price, so i guess its expected

richard thomas - 20/5/07 at 08:37 PM

Not so much the lolocost stuff, just the lightweight chassis...didn't inspire any confidence looking at the quality seeing as it was a demo car (jaggedy arse angles nailed in and about the place, diff mounts etc) - pity though, as an alloy monocoque is a fantastic idea!

Heard them described as a "cheese grater" , seems to fit . The new chassis at Stoneliegh looked a lot better IMHO
