Has anyone white walled tyres on a modern car?
Im thinking what it would look like on my jag but im worried it might look a bit stupid and i cant find any pics of it having been done on a modern
jag.
Not to my taste, but I suspect the main issue would be getting hold of white walled tyres in the right fitment for your car.
You could always paint them yourself, but that's never going to look good for long.
Sorry. I meant painting them myself
Photoshop?
no unless you want to be the laughing stock of your town, it's a step on the slippery slope to blue LED washers and under car lighting.
i would say it depends on the car, i am tempted to get some for my 96, theres a 95 which is the estate version, not the 9-5) with them and it looks pretty good.
here is the car in question

Ok what about just the lettering?

FWIW I noticed Frost have some whitewall paint (or redwall bizarrely enough)
http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=8667&frostProductName=Whitewall%20Tyre%20Paint%20(250ml)
and paint pens for picking out the lettering

also available in gold.
It's your car so do what you feel looks good, but I'm not a fan personally.
Surely nobody would laugh at that car Trog, would they ?

Hrrrrmmm!! Sorry
i think they are cool in a quirky kind of way, i would want one, they are pretty practical, a seven seat estate car one of the first i would
imagine!
don't worry i am used to people laughing at my car, the saloon version
