internet search energy suppliers and input your current suppliers of gas and electric and it will give the options of suppliers in your area and savings.British gas are good here for both at present

good luck,10% commission to...............

Can anyone find a straight table of prices from all of the suppliers. I also have used Uswitch etc in the past but I still think it is rigged. No one seems to produce a good ole look up table to enable us all to compare the prices.

Uswitch charges to appear on the list so there are always smaller suppliers who refuse to pay but still might be cheaper.

Iain

Moved into a one bedroom flat about 3 months ago, electricity is on economy 7, Night rate: 4.53p, day rate: 11.20p first bill came in at £85.90 for 2 months, I dont have gas though.

Macbeast - 31/5/07 at 03:28 PM

I have both gas and electricity from EDF.

On 94 days' worth, 554 units -

first 232 units is at 13.25p and remaining 322 was at 7.88p

Total is £56.11 for a winter quarter. It's a 2 bed flat, heating is gas, only big electric consumption is oven, millions of cups of coffee and charging up the Dremel

I have similiar sized electric bills with British gas.I was on economy 7 but realised that I hardly used any at night and the day time usage is more expensive on the economy 7 tariff so told them to remove me from the E7 tarrif. Now the unit price is cheaper but still use stupid amounts as there are always PCs and tellys on in the house and the wife will insist on using a tumble drier even in the middle of summer..
