Gran Turismo 4 or Forza Motorsport 2

which is better?

Gran Turismo 4 on a PS2
or
Forza Motorsport 2 on an XBox 360

I've just been playing the Forza Demo - Wow but Gran Turismo 4 has a Caterham and other more interesting cars and is much cheaper

My son says Forza, the game is even better than the demo.
Who wants to drive a Cateringvan anyway.

Hi i already had GT4 but a friend kept telling me that since he had got his X box and forza 2 he wouldn't go back to the PS.

Having spent so much time playing on GT4 and finding it really frustrating that when you set the cars up the setting you change do not have much of a realistic change on the cars.

So when i got to play on my friends x box and forza 2 i was thinking it would be pretty much the same. But it's just so much better the setting applied to the car are more realistic the overlaying of the data logger info with everything you need to know. And playing it on a HD screen is awsome.

I only went round for 2 hrs to have a chat but came home 6 hrs later asking myself where i could find the time to play an x box for 4hrs in every 24.

Also i never had the ps2 on line But the online setup and community were impressive also.

I am still torn between hanging on for GT5 or getting the 360 and forza 2 . Trouble is finding the time to use either when working 11hr days and spending time with the wife.

So my 2p worth is GT 4 was good and kept you comming back but the xbox and forza2 will have you addicted .

cheers matt

forza motorsport 2 is the dogz danglies.

the only problem is that you will find yourself playing the game and not doing anything else. I picked a copy up on Monday and i find that a quick 30 minutes turns into 3 - 4 hours into the early hours of the morning.

the cars are very realistic and the tuning and customising options are endless.

10 out of 10

Ive got a PS3 and im waiting for GT5 to appear, having played the GT HD demo, it looks like its gonna be worth waiting for, also having a look round some forums for GT5 the game physics are gonna be mucho improved.

The PS3 F1 demo is also pretty good

Ok then, Forza it is.
My son has both an XBox and an old PS2 but a PS3 is out of the question.
Thanks for the advice

Yeh, I got Forza 2 last week and it is very very addictive. Definetely worth the purchase.

where's the cheapest place to get it?
In an old post on here I think someone said they got it for £27 - but where from?

Got it now. Played 'till late. My son is much better at it than me.
