0-60 timed
JoelP - 29/6/07 at 02:06 PM

just timed my van to 60. Had to do it in two sections as i ran out of road each time! 30-60 took 48 seconds! 0-30 in 16 seconds, about 1min04secs overall.

Beat that.

ps that was with a turbo fault; no boost and a 3k rev limit.

Try climbing the M62 up to Saddleworth in an Iveco 35S11, with trailer and rayward's MGF on the back, with a blown pipe off the intercooler 60mph seemed like a distant dream. Went like a rocket once we had effected a repair.

Garage have had an a**e kicking for not tightening clips up when they put them back.

Tsssk, my parents used to have a 1950s Magirus Deutz firetruck, converted to camper.. it had a topspeed of 45MPH, and it would take well over a minute to reach that incredible topspeed..

Joel - that certainly sounds like a scientifically sound measurement technique you've employed

Can you post figures for 0-60-0 too please
