hi

Im looking to get me and my gf a quad each however as usual its only going to be used on the odd day for a bit of fun so theres no point it costing the earth

Ive seen these raptor copies go cheap on ebay with 300cc manual gearbox engines

If they are the Chinese ones the quality is really bad. I bought one for the kids to play on, Craptor is what we named it,

did it fall apart like those mini moto's do?

the young lad at work owns a Quadziller, looks pretty well made but f--k me is it dodgy to ride on tarmac wont turn then when it does it trys to throw you off or over the bars still a giggle though ,

We used to hang a net behind it to catch all the bits that drop off, It was crap.
The other problem is that there are very few legal places to fool around on them.

The Quadzilla ones are of better quality than the Cheapo Chinese ones.

i would never buy a kid a chinese quad! i had to fix one for my mates nephew, once it was fixed had to have a go on it!! it was bloody scary, only a 50cc but when i got upto speed it was mental unstable and steering was mental twitchy.
i would buy a big proper one though.

I'd never ride a quad again. Just buy a couple of trailies.

Wrote one off the day before my wedding

She was not impressed, what a way to start

they dont sound to good from peoples experiences that seems to go for any quad

why have they got such a good following then

ive had a go on some decent yamaha ones and they were a good laugh, may just be the cheap one having major issues.

my gf at the time did have a few problems though, oil barrels and treej kept jumping out in front of her and her brakes didnt work throttle stuck too, strange how it was all okay when one of the instructors rode it lol

We have had two quads, well still have the second,

They do a job for us though, used as a small tractor, they where both the "farm" type with high n low box plus reverse.

Will tow almost anything almost anywhere.
