Yey! The romance is back on :)

I must admit after driving back from the wedding I fell out of love rather with Se7en driving. Drving home in tipping rain whilst aquaplaning @ 50mph while unable to see diddly squat despite having the wipers on full chat was not my idea of fun the day after my wedding.....

Snowboarding, rock climbing, you name it... Nothing was as scary as that drive!!!!!!

However, I was keen for the LocoPan to not be one of those cars that get sold after 6 months of ownership so well and truly "got back on the bike" this evening by razzing around Norf London....

Yeeeeehaaaaaa!!!!

What a laugh!! I love Se7ens

I even whoppppppppppped the ass off an Audi TT (okay, not exactly anything to be prooud of)... I even caught a neutral going into 2 and accidentally rev'd the nuts of the engine. Still the rev cut did its job and chopped the ignition and then when I wacked it into 2nd I got nice flames out of both sides from the unburnt fuel in the cans....

Hehehehehe

Still wiped the floor with the TT boy racers (they had two up).... Nevermind, they had very nice haircuts

I have built 2 7's and sold them quickly after finishing them and soon after i ask myself why the hell i sold them. I sold my last Indy in Feb this year and kinda wished i han't. I really should have given mine more of a chance. Now i have no money to get another....hey ho.

You did the right thing!

The "cash strewn streets of West Hampstead" as Practical Classics call them this month!!! whereabouts are you Stu? Looks a bit like further out than me- trees? I've read about them

Not much further out - I'm based in Colindale (the photo was taken in Mill Hill).

Cheers

If it's any consolation I had a similar experience (though not as personally wet ) for 10mins this afternoon going past RAF Wittering on the A1M.
That was in a Mondeo and wipers on full couldn't cope, standing water across all carriageways. Slowed to 40 and still felt out of control and blind.

Rest of journey (before and after) was completely dry. Weather has gone mad.
