im not British so if Barachello had done that to Schumacher how many of you would be smiling?
Honestrly now
i'd like to give my input on this circumstance given the big reaction to his behavior.
being a spaniard i would normally defend alonso no matter what.. but in this case and knowing how he behaves in F1 i can not protest about the
reaction he has caused. i personally think he's a ba***ard and has no sense of formality whatsoever. actually my favourite guy in F1 at the
moment is Hamilton because he's proven to be a great driver and an amazing F1 personality.
i remember when alonso won his first Spanish grand prix and the king of Spain came to the podium to congratulate him and he didn't even try to
acknowledge him. he actually ignored him until the king himself had to grab him on the arm to make him react... that really put me off, no matter if
he's a fellow spaniard he's a plonker...
the truth is hamilton reminds me of senna really... where alonso drives like he was in a quasi rally/gokart, hamilton really has the technique in
him.
i didnt see the qualifying session today but being aware of the reaction it gave... i'm not really surprised...
lets see tomorrow what happens.. if alonso wins i'll not be sad, but if hamilton wins i'll know deep down that it was meant to be...
IMO Hamiltons biggest contribution to F1 is his attitude and composure, very rarely gets rattled and always gives good conscise interviews, a true ambassadoe for the sport and a breath of freah air. Alonso, i am afraid, just proves where the sport has gone wrong.
Personally I'm a little disappointed in the demotion to 6th place.
I would rather have seen LH race him to the first corner.... and beat him of course.
Maybe we will see a duel between them later on in the race, or maybe not.
Alonso does seem to get rattled when things go against him, and his driving then suffers.
Looking forward to the race.

Just read report in the times.
Seems that Hamilton not 100 % blamless ( the fact that he was out of position before the stop )
he also was exchangng F-words with Dennis after the 'incident' accourding to the report
Roll on this aft

I think McLaren should be sent out of this season.
Found guilty by FIA and NOT punished, what sort of justice is that? Berbies doing the string pulling.
Now Alonso has been punished for gamesmanship. Surely, as the only driver effected was from the same team, it's a nonsense.
It's a total farce. Shows what a circus it is.
And besides Kubica is better than Hamilton!

Guys like Rubens, Button. DC, & Hamilton just don't pull stunts like that. Until now I would have thought Alonso wouldn't have done something so nasty I used to rate him highly , perhaps next year he will replace Kimi at Ferrari he would feel right at home,
I don't think either of them are arses. But I do think it's good for the sport to have stuff like this going on. look at how much interest
it's sparked on here and we very rarely debate in much depth about F1. As said roll on this afternoon

FIA have made a pig ear of running the sport going back to the immediate post WW2 era. I have watched and/or taken part in the sport over four
decades and seen some dreadful travesties of justice over the years. I can list many instances where govenoring bodies and race orangisors have
twisted the interpretation rules in favour of teams or drivers of their own nationality --- I might add not just in France or Italy, where home GP
were concerned rules tend to get stretched in favour of a national hero such as Hunt or Schuey.
Mosley much as distrust the man has been better than those that went before him.
