What does the collective think of these?

Are they all convertible? Manual version available? Good value? Running cost ?

If you get one, you'll be able to do home visits cutting hair.

All convertible (SL KABRIO)

Don't like it, it's for women
Put in row with: Daihatsu Copen, MGF, BMW Z3, VW Golf, smart, beetle, audi TT etc.

Men buy: BMW Z4, sevens, viper, f430 , elise, opel GT, Jag XK

For the rest I think it is a good car

Did you win the lotery?

if i was getting a car that size and expense id get a z3m roadster (not the normal soft top one).

Z4's a girls car too. Our divorced, 60 year old going on 30 year old, permatanned, bottle blonde secretary has one to try and rekindle her lost youth. That just about sums it up!

Get a Chimera and stick an LS chevy V8 in.

A possible donor?

Friend of mine has one of these, great fun if a little girly.

Rather quick, even the supercharged 1.8 is surprisingly quick, we sat at 220kph on our way to Hanover with the top down and it was stable and comfortable.

I think I recall that, at it's launch, the K stood for Kompakt, due to it's diminutive size.....

I though it stood for 'Kompressor'...
...but I've been known to be wrong, occasionally.
