New guy needs somewhere to build
beejay - 22/8/07 at 06:01 PM

Hi there, long time lurker first time poster!
Now I've graduated and got a bit more spare time on my hands I'm eager to get cracking on building a Locost. Thing is my garage isn't ideal so I'm thinking of renting some workshop/garage space somewhere. Any tips on where to look? The local Loot and asking about at work hasn't thrown anything suitable up yet.

speak to all of your local farmers

Everyone I spoke to said that they would be happy to come to some sort of arrangement

its then just a question of which one suits you best/is cheapest/you get on with the best

Your local council for one on a block?

Big advantage of using a local farmers barn/shed is that you have somewhere private to drive the car while building and testing it. Much better than driving it ten yards down the drive to test if the brakes work or not!
