...as im coming up to my 21st (2 months
) i want to get a HGV licence and do some truck driving in motorsport (preferably f1) as one of my parents
freinds did it for Villeneuves BAR in 2000-2003.
Iv been looking for info about the trucks and the job but cant find any info at all. I remember a few years ago Martin Brundle did an article for itv
about them but looked on youtube and cant find anything.
I thought id ask on here if anyone knew where i could find some info on the net.
you would need a class 1,cant go straight into that any more,you would prob need to know someone on the inside to get a job as truckie in F1 and a few
years experience
From what i understand i will need to do catagory c and the catagory c+e. Expensive but i have always wanted to do it for some kind of motorsport
Well, I have to say it. Don't do it, truckers suck!
(In teh bomb shelter waiting for the flack
)
I would have though the obvious first port of call, would be your parent's friend.
'im wot done it already.
should have joined the army, you could have been behind the wheel at 17 !
i thought you wanted to drive a race truck as in a racing truck!
You should come and work for me, most of my drivers seem to think they are some sort of driving god but have the battle scars to prove otherwise
