Had looked at those suggestions but was wondering if anyone had any experiences or could recommend an online store?

I have just spoken to activ8.com, the guy even ran down stairs to check the stock as the computer was down

seems like the best price with free shipping too.

I have used aktiv8.com, but not for boots..... also, I found their service to be excellent!

I wouldn't buy boots online, as there are too many variables unless you know exactly what you want.

Boots can vary from one pair to the next, and you may find one pair of size 9's is different to the next. You could go to one of the high street outlets and try something for size and fit, then see if you can get them cheaper online if you are prepared to take the risk on the fit.

I've used activ8.com for hardware and always found them good for service also

Cheers

petew is right; boots are not like a jumper that could be a bit too small or too big as either can end up causing a lot of foot pain.

if you are 100% the boots will be identical in fit to the ones you have now, they you are ok.

most places, I;m sure evne on-line ones, will accept returns if you walk around indoors but you will have to pay postage so if you need to return (or mkae several returns) it does not become economical.

I bought a 10.5 pair and they were a smidgen too small, tried on an 11 in the shop but went for 10.5 in the end.

Should have gone for the 11, sold the 10.5's to Kissy on here for half of what they cost me.

I know the 11 will fit so i have ordered them.

Very good to deal with too.
