We finished our Britsports race by lunch time so I spent the afternoon bobble hatting. A girl I was with knew someone who worked for the B.R.S.C.C. in
race control so I saw the start of the race from there. Had a quick yap to Clarkson and Hammond up there. They said that they were worried about May
as his sum total of racing experience was the twenty minutes of running he had in the car before the start of the race!!
They were the only team not to make the start line because of an oil leak and they were up to 49th half an hour ago but the Stig has just knocked the
splitter off and they have more fluids leaking. The car is opn its way back to the pits now. Was offered a lap in the course car (which I stupidly
turned down in case I missed anything) Good laugh. And I can confirm that Clarkson is a bit of a tw@t though!
