Hi all,
Thinking of buying an airless sprayer, but don't know anything about them, been self employed decorator for 15 months now,and starting to get asked to do bigger jobs, hence the sprayer question, anyone out there in the know???

Cheers

Used one years ago, found it to be absolutely rubbish, when compared to a compressor unit. May have improved since then, but I doubt it, HTH Ray

I've got one - we painted my brother Phils' garage (inside) with it - very quick and reliable.

When I tried one paint went everywhere except for the car, very messy and the noise will do you head in. But it was very cheap £30 - £40

Had one years ago. Tried to paint a Lada Russian racing green. Truly terrible. Don't know which was worse the car or the paint gun.

If you mean a professional one then I've seen lads using them at work, seem to chuck loads of paint at the job in no time. Get enough hose and you won't even need to carry the paint inside. Quite an investment though, have you considered hirering one to see what you think.
