Yeah they did say they'd effectively take the fine out of McLaren's winnings but either way they're going to be $100m worse off than
they would have been. That's gotta hurt
Pete
Well I'm sure I've read or heard today something more concerning in that Mclaren will before they are allowed to race have to prove that
they have not used technology advantages taken from any other manufacturers. WTF is that all about. How quick will Lewis be in a pedal
car
.
Also if they've got to prove it then presumeably the whole of the FIA will know Mclarens spec.???????????????

Funny that, ferrari winning again....
Funny that, ferrari winning again....
I've just read the 14 page adobe down load from the FIA formula one site (first you read their article on the news page and at the bottom it say
click here to read full report) and I think its a load off horse hockey. The real guilty parties are the 2 spanish drivers
but they got get out
of jail free cards.
Page 10, 5.3, basically say there is no evidence of copying but we don't think that is true.
Page 11, 8.5 was also interesting but it all makes me so

that I've forgotten what it was.
But yes the ammout they will pay is the fine less what they might reasonably have been expected to receive.
It still has to hurt.
IT'S A WITCH HUNT AN NOTHING ELSE
ferrari aren't winning the chapmionship, so McLaren are taken out to let ferrari win
As Jolly green says from the report there is no cast iron proof of an advantage by spying. Ferrari want Ron out, as I suspect does Bernie. God knows why though he's one if not the strongest personality in F1 IMHO (could thats the prob eh)

The most telling point was in the report in yesterday's Independent when they reported that "the FIA offered to drop the charges if Ron
would announce his retirement"
Obviously if you can win with whatever technical rules they put in the way and threaten to make fools of the powers that be they will try to get even
using every tool at their disposal.
Go stuff em Ron!!!
