Not bad, but it would look daft on your Indy

I prefer 4 spoke Revolutions to those.

I'm glad I wasn't the first to say that

i prefer minilites .... they just look 'right' to me.

zilspeed - 18/9/07 at 05:03 PM

Ok.

Favourite rim ever ?

Even more then Minilites, Revolutions or Aleycats ?

These - Compomotive Turbo split rims. As seen on many an 80s Vision Clubmans car. Sub Zero in top gear speak.

I had to look at this thread to see what sort of 'rim' we were on about

MINILIGHTS

Minilites --- classic beauty

Minilites get my vote, but they have to be on the right car.

Old style (no hubcap) Compomotive CX split rims, polished rims and gold or black centres.

I quite like these

But mine don't look that shiny. Although I do have 12 of them!

Ahh I wondered what your next project was going to be Si

He he, I got 8 of them with my mini when I brought it (for £350!!!). I then had a wandered round a local scrappy and one of the blokes asked if my mini was in the car park (i was under a mini at the time) and he said he could dig out another set of rims for me, at £10 each! Absolute bargain. I just need to find somewhere that can refurb them, to the standard of that pic for me.
