High speed crash this weekend in my area

Sort of rhymes with the previous crash topic... unfortunately...

Two cars (Lamborghini Murcielago and Porsche 911) were racing at night on the highway near Budapest (with a 100 km/h limit at that area - 62 MPH), they were both doing around 300 km/h - 180 MPH when they collided in a light turn and crashed. The Lambo caught fire and the fire spread over to the Porsche as well. Both drivers escaped with fractures, but not much else...

Here is a link, in Hungarian but the pictures speak for themselves... (there are 3 pages, you can jump to the next one on the bottom)

Crash pictures from the firefighters homepage

The drivers are both Hungarian, aged 29 and 30. I wonder where they got their cars from... they must be working really hard to earn so well...

Very lucky people I'd say!

This type of crash once again goes to prove that just because you can afford a fast car doesn't mean that you can drive one.
