alloys on my car were powder coated it silver metallic. same look at paint, maybe not as shiney as a car though, but looks very nice

Smart ForTwos have powder coated chassis. The silver powder coat looks like silver metalic paint.

I got my chassis done in silver - it's sort of a satin gloss which actually suits it well. Almost exactly the same as Silver Smoothrite so touch ups don't show too much (handy for the 'oops' factor)

Or when you remember that bracket you meant to weld on...

That's what I meant

Mate of mine had his chassis done in silver. When first done it was very shiny and metallic. Over the months it's become more and more silver grey.

this is one of my front hubs

its sliver powdercoat, but without the clear top coat so its more silver/grey (I don't know much about it, but the guy doing it reconed it wouldn't be tough enough)

ignore the red - its just paint
