Don't blame him particularly!!!
Me thinks he is just spitting out his dummy. He is still a kid after all.
after looking at the video how can hamilton have caused the shunt they were in front of him.
I dont blame him either - the way the sport is going now is absolutely ridiculous. Its getting to the stage where the teams are going to need a lawyer
on the pit wall and that is not how motor-racing should be. Far too much politics involved, far too many threats to remove points etc etc.
I personally wouldnt want to be involved in a sport where titles are decided in a tribunial by the "politicians" who seem to have their own
agenda
Regardless of the outcome of the investigation, I don't think it does Hamilton any good to make comments like that...
To suggest that a penalty is a foregone conclusion as F1 has it in for him is not a great sign of maturity. And to make thinly veiled threats that he
might leave the sport if he doesn't get his way is arrogant to say the least.
I think it's fair enough for him to feel that way!! F1 is so ferrari centered. Are they still the only team we're unable to hear on driver
radio? Are they still pulling silly bugger pit tricks and getting away with it?
They've been handed the constructors championship, now they'll no doubt knock lots of point off Lewis so that Kimi can have a chance to win
the driver's...
Where the hell is the inquiry into Alonsos bonzai first corner move two races back??? Oh, sorry I forgot- he's Ferrari's 3rd driver now.....

Hamilton was no where near Webber or Vettel!!
Does a Torro Rosso not have a Ferrari engine?

All sports have rules, and those rules must be enforced. The FIA are investigating (allegedly - it's not actually been officially confirmed) a complaint made by another driver. That is all good and proper.
There's no evidence that politics are involved in this issue at all. The spy scandal is a different matter however...
But I'm bet Ferrari with their Doberman lawyers / vultures will be circling and trying to add "leverage" to the situation....
From BBC news forum P.S. ACCORDING TO '5-LIVE' AT AROUND 1210HRS (BST) HAMILTON WALKED OUT OF THE INFOMAL STEWARDS MEETING WITH "A BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE"
this is chit..
its backed air...
its nothing...
these thing are facts!
1) Hamilton doesn't had one constant pace behind the safetycar
2) Hamilton went wide and fooled 2 other drivers that way in the result that they crashed (they both told that they where watching if Hamilton was
broken down or not)
3) Hamilton didn't respect the 5lenghts car rule behind the safety car
4) The colour of that sf benz in the rain is bad
5) Behind the safety car in bad weather the rear light should become brake lights (my idea/opinion)
6) Its 7days ago the thing happend
7) There is no official investigation declared
8) Hamilton has driveing skills etc.
9) Hamilton still is an rookie in F1 and is still learning sow many things are just learning curve
10) The times Hamilton drove behind an safety car in bad weather are tobe counted on one hand. sow its likely and normal that he could make a
fault!
11) Vettel didn't keep the distance needed
12) Button declared in the press that Hamilton drove on/off/on/off etc..

BBC news now confirming no punishment.
hmm , cant he just keep his mouth shut ?
doesnt do him any favours to speak that way , children should be seen and not heard !
and alonsos move was still legitimate he did after all have the racing line and hamilton should yield , not that i want to go on about it .
If for any reason that lewis doesnt win - hell always come back and say it was politics or some other reason .
Keep quiet and let the driving do the talking .
I also wonder moves schumacher would have put on hamilton , being in the same position .

I missed that - did he run over a small tree?
Yohoho
I meant more

Just as F1 became interesting again with Ferraris total dominance finaly ending and the introduction of Hamiltons talent, we are back to the politics
and bitching that drove many people away from it previoulsy.
F1 isn't a motorsport any more, it's a political farce and I honestly can't be bothered to even switch the TV for it anymore.
Give me BTCC, WRC, MotoGP or any of the other motorsports that are actualy exciting to watch.

It's already become more of an image that people can buy into rather than a sport. All you get is ITCV walking up and down the grid trying to
spot as many famous people as possible, then some scandle to keep people interest.
They also drive some cars around a track a bit sometimes.
The ruling body does seem to be causing some bother dont they? I think the government should impose a 70MPH limit on all tracks and then fine them for
speeding - just think of the revenue they could create??? Maybe even create a green rule whereby the cars must achieve an average 40mpg over the race
or get points deducted.

Here's a possible scenario...
Hamilton wins the championship (quite possible)
At the end of the season he decides to leave F1 and enter a different championship, one that's more professional and has less back-biting.
Ron gives him full backing - maybe even running a new team in that championship.
Far fetched? Maybe not so...

i personally think hamiltons driving in that instance was poor, why did he take so long to get back on the gas and not turn into the corner? Its fair that vettel has had his penalty lifted because its an easy mistake to make when distracted.
Yes, he should quit F1 and go to college, university or whatever and get a crap job like everybody else, and shut the hell up. He's just another with a silver spoon up his duff, but I guess he's just trying to fit in.
He's black and his Dad worked two jobs to finance his karting till Ron "discovered" him. How does that qualify him for a silver spoon?

You assume that F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport - I'm not sure that I agree. Yes. it's just about the fastest racing series, but for spectator value for money it's no longer number one.

Did any one else watching ITV coverage of qualifying pickup on what just might have been a veiled reference to Max's real motivations for being so against Hamilton.
