[Edited on 6/10/07 by bigrich]
Mine was too light! It only goes down to 35o kg! The figures at 350 kg were:
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 180
Weight without Driver (KG) : 350
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 522.54
0 - 60 (Secs) : 3.22

Terminal Speed (MPH) : 115.43
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.54
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 116.85

Mine has not been finished yet but its nice to know a rough idea of what it would do!
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 136

used the figures for the hillclimber, should be fun if i ever get time to drive it, and its 30kg lighter than the calcs allow, roll on spring

speedy,
If you're using Jag bits, I think you may find your weight estimate a bit optimistic

Simon
mines not finished so i used my tintop.
manufacture specs in brackets.
so pretty accurate, if you belive manufacturers...lol
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 226 (230ps)

Terminal Speed (MPH) : 113.06
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.83
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 114.44
Sadly... although it's based on real world statistics they are not accurate and IMO quite optimistic. Especially with regard to
"average" aerodynamics... a Se7en is hardly "average" is it
Stick 0.5-0.6 secs on those 1/4 mile stats. It also states that gear changes are not taken into account - a BEC changes MUCH quicker than a CEC so you
CEC boys stick another second or so on.... these are probably more realistic figures.
Steve
Come on Big John OR Mark Wirring lets have you put your estimated figures up.

Should be interesting even if it's nearly close:
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 300
Weight without Driver (KG) : 600
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 508.03
0 - 60 (Secs) : 3.24
0 - 100 (Secs) : 8.02
60 - 100 (Secs) : 4.78
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.54
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 119.97
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.44

makes for good reading and boasting material
yes it does....................
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 204
Weight without Driver (KG) : 540
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 383.84
0 - 60 (Secs) : 3.56

Terminal Speed (MPH) : 113.29
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.86
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 114.67
that's based on actual weight and rolling road power from two different rolling roads..............
now I just have to try it on the drag strip!!
I am pretty au fait with what a mid 3 sec to 60 car feels like, and mine feels about right, though 0-100 I have no idea, never tried it in one proper
clean hit really.
[Edited on 10/10/07 by NS Dev]
Seems about right. I think a few people with unfinished cars are being a bit optimistic with the weights
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 155
Weight without Driver (KG) : 625
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 251.98
0 - 60 (Secs) : 4.60

Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.04
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 103.22
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 12.94
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 104.45
Wow david i thought your car would have been lighter than that. Makes me worry how heavy mine will actually be

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 90
Weight without Driver (KG) : 550
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 166.26
0 - 60 (Secs) : 6.43
0 - 100 (Secs) : 18.78
60 - 100 (Secs) : 12.35
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 14.94
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 89.20
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 14.84
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 90.26
What's the idea of the 'weight without driver'? Are these cars remote controlled or something?
