For all the regulars to the forum...

I thought I'd conduct a little survey.

Purely for scientific reasons you understand...

Who is the person that posts the most useless stuff in here.

I must be fairly high in the list, but I know there are some out there even more useless than me.

Everybody vote now.

David Jenkins - 19/9/03 at 08:59 AM

No need - you win.

Mark H - 19/9/03 at 09:30 AM

Cor, a vote on whos the "craziest".

"I'm mad, me", etc. "I've got a Simpsons tie that sings Christmas carols - do i win? "*

*(This is untrue. All of my ties are classy, although i do own a few pairs of "comic sox".

Bloody 'ell.

Or useless posts? I think most posts that try to help, but lead down a blind ally wins. Eg: "I'd like to do xy and z to my car. Will this pass the sva/make it faster/make my penis bigger, etc?". Answers may be:

Yes, thats fine
No dont do it
Dont know

Great!

Mark H - 19/9/03 at 09:30 AM

Just realsied that most of my posts are therefore useless!!

I should be safe if I ever get stranded in 1930's Germany.

Mark H - 19/9/03 at 11:30 AM

Most of them looked like that deputy head from Grange Hill (the one who went swimming and left his syrup on the side. Oh how we laughed!).

Mr Bronson!!!

Played of course by Michael Sheard who (more importantly ) played Admiral Ozzel in The Empire Strike Back!

Having just looked him up on IMDB it turns out you were justified in recognising him:

"Michael played Adolph Hitler in three films and one television show"
http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0790410/

Cheers,

Film Geek

Nah, a mere spring chicken of 25!

But G'Hill was one of my favourites.

And so was Star Wars until the Phantom Menace came out!

Haven't watched any of them since then!

Oh well, gives me time to build a car instead!

James

Donning me anorak for a second, Michael Sheard made a brief appearance in Indianna Jones And The Last Crusade as Adolf Hilter at the book burning rally in Berlin. Nice girly in that film too (Alison Doody)

Mark H - 23/9/03 at 09:56 AM

Browser/James,

Your "D list British actors who have played both a headmaster and Hitler" knowledge is exemplary.

Once you've played one though, the other would come naturally!

Browser - 23/9/03 at 12:51 PM

Why, thankyou

Browser - 23/9/03 at 12:53 PM

Eyup, I've just noticed my status has changed from 'Junior Builder' to 'Builder'! Wahoo, I'm lurchign towards the big leagues now. Bit like plating Elite and moving from 'Harmless' to 'Mostly Harmless' (those who grew up on eighties home computers will know what I am talking about!)

bob - 23/9/03 at 12:53 PM

Hippy started this with basically who posts the most bollx and james has IMO won gold with the grange hill/star wars/hittler link.

James

Get yourself a proper job and lock yourself in the garage evenings and weekends, its the only cure mate

Mark H - 23/9/03 at 02:27 PM

Brilliant !!

I've decided I don't deserve senior builder, and i want to be "Mostly Harmless" - much more apt!

As John Luc says "Make it so"...

I was interested to see who everyone else said, but James had my vote....
