Stole this link from Pistonheads , but how ironic the original owner should see the add ?

It'll T-cut out.

Oh OK, the suspension might need a cable tie or two as well

What about an LB group buy and then we use it as a pattern to churn body-kits out?

Seems the seller on Ebay has done it before. Check FB.

That user name should be banned, the IP logged and that banned as well.

Ba$%ard.

Anyone who buys a written off car from an ebay listing without inspecting it and knowing exactly what needs doing and how much it will cost deserves all the pain they are going to get. It's not a job for amateurs, especially with top end luxury cars.

Also a quote from an Aston specialist to an insurance company will be astronomical and involve replacing everything even slightly bent with new. Is the chassis aluminium? If not why couldn't it be pulled out like every other monocoque repaired quite legitimately in the uk? Not that you could sell the car for a profit after repair at that starting price since people who buy Astons are a particular bunch.

Not sure getting bad feedback from someone with -1 themselves counts for much.

Is a repaired Aston actually worth much? As said above, the kind of people that buy them would surely never go near a Cat D? Even I'm not that silly for god's sake!

Still, you could buy it and just have it as a garden ornament

Apparently the tub if required is £19k, and they will only sell it to approved repairers.

The car was bought for £38k at auction with a £43k starting price on ebay, by the time its repaired you may as well buy the £70k straight one as even with a cheap repair I would guess the re sale on the car would be low been on the hit list.

Bit cheeky of them. Might be worth taking it off their hands for five or six thousand, as a donor for a Cobra say
