I looked at it at Donnington, some good ideas and looked to be well manufactured but it was not complete and looking at the web site there doesnt seem to be a finished car yet. They were taking orders, i cant remeber the price but it wasnt cheap and I would be suprised if anyone bought one before seeing a finshed car.
Paul.

^^^^ Agreed on all of the above. The 3 seater approach caught my eye at Donnington but the car was not finished. Seems a strange concept really having 3 seats in a BEC - all that extra weight from a lardy extra passenger. Would be worth a visit though - not sure where they are though and couldnt see it on the website.

They are in Lancs, spoke to their director Simon at one of the shows & since when supplying them some flexy hoses - they are using a Wilwood setup. I believe Simon is pretty much a "one man band" but quality & attitude seems good. Interesting choice of engine, may be torquier than some bike lumps.

When people talk about 150 bhp of bike power struggling to pull 3 up, I think perhaps we should remember the 850cc Mini - weighed around 600kg & had about 35bhp IIRC I had one & had enormous fun with it, sometimes carrying 4 passengers + me - I'm sure the SDR would be a wee bit quicker!!

Edited to say I think they have got a few chassis sold.

more importantly though - when there are no passengers, the driver is still centrally placed - which is the best place for them for balance etc - so is it a case of making space for 2 passengers, or a case of designing for the optimal drive that happens to have space for another couple of bodies if needed?

"So Nitram38 is sdr? "

What makes you say that? Nitram is Martin & he's in Mitcham not Lancs!!
