I was gonna say that all the scots will be cheering for Coulthard but they'll probably abondon support for him to cheer on Alonso or Raikkonen.

It's really his to lose. If he can get past Massa and keep his head it should all go to plan. Fingers crossed!

omega 24 v6 - 21/10/07 at 03:06 PM

Nah we support the BRITISH Button

Hellfire - 21/10/07 at 03:11 PM

But........... Jensen Button is ENGLISH...........

Phil

omega 24 v6 - 21/10/07 at 03:12 PM

EH no I don't think so I think you'll find he has a british passport:

scoobyis2cool - 21/10/07 at 03:12 PM

I'd be happy enough if Button won the world championship today, but barring some pretty hefty penalties I think I'd be better off putting my money on Hamilton.

I also think you'll find that he was born in Frome, Somerset, which last time I checked was in ENGLAND.

BenB - 21/10/07 at 04:48 PM

My adrenal glands are knackered!!!! I can't take it any more

First the football, then the rugby, now F1!!!

scottc - 21/10/07 at 04:48 PM

Think Nakajima's going to have to practise those pit stops a bit.

Thankfully the bloke didn't look too injured.

StevieB - 21/10/07 at 04:49 PM

I got myself lost through the week (too much excitement over the rugby!).

What does Lewis need from the race to secure the world title?

BenB - 21/10/07 at 04:49 PM

He looks pretty injured to me- broken foot at least

iiyama - 21/10/07 at 05:13 PM

Not looking too good at the moment, but not impossible. Not sure if he's fuelled to the end though??

iiyama - 21/10/07 at 05:14 PM

bollx

scottc - 21/10/07 at 05:15 PM

iiyama - 21/10/07 at 05:18 PM

Paul TigerB6 - 21/10/07 at 05:26 PM

Well at least Alonso isnt about to win it!!! Who comes second with Hammy and Alonso on equal points???

iiyama - 21/10/07 at 05:40 PM

Hamilton because hes had more wins

cossey - 21/10/07 at 05:48 PM

havent both hammy and alonso both got 4 each to kimis 6 although i think hammy gets it on more seconds

theconrodkid - 21/10/07 at 05:55 PM

well not bad for a first season,he got a bit excited in the first bit then suffered from someone on here making dodgy bits for his gearbox, still the lad did well and there is always next year

the bastard!

congrats to kimi though, did he smile at all?!

DarrenW - 22/10/07 at 08:55 AM

I did hear that Lewis ordered a remote gear selector off a certain kit car supplier on ebay about a month back and it hasnt arrived yet!!!!!!! Could that be why he had a bit of bother?????

I reckon the boy has done good. At the start of the season no-one would have put money on him coming second never mind fighting tooth and nail to win the championship. I think his Dad has the right attitude. Ron composed himselfquite well in the interview despite abviously being gutted - couldnt have been easy.

martyn_16v - 22/10/07 at 10:28 AM

It's just been mistakes all weekend from the McLaren mechanics. First they use too many wet tyres, then they go and put the sand in the wrong gearbox
