Well got a free ticket to a Donington track day and since noise regs are too strict for the MK, I took the tintop.

Although the scooby is a very capable car, it made me realise how much I'd have to spend on it to make it seriously track-worthy. The poor little brakes didn't stand a chance braking into Goddards!

Would love to take the MK round Donington, but the noise is a big issue. There was another MK there (Rizla Suzuki, built by MK for customer) - it was his first trackday, and he got 1 sighting lap then black flagged

Nice vid. I used to track my MY02 Scoob and it became a seriously expensive pastime - brakes, tyres, wheel bearings, fuel. Even in STI spec, with prodrive suspension it was lacking as a track tool. However, it did get me into track days and for that I am grateful.

I think it's a shame there's such a noise limit at Donny. I've never taken the MK, although I had vague plans to do a noisy day there this year they never came off due to lack of funds.
