I've recieved this email from 'Alliance & Leiciester bank.

NOW THEN! I dont have an account with them! Has anyone else had this or know who I can report it too???

I just wing them off to: suspiciousemails@alliance-leicester.co.uk
not that they reply but a least there is the chance it may give the scrotes a bit of aggro.

well, it does say don't reply to the email, but phone them... makes me think its not a scam.

you don't bank with them though, looks sus.

there is a way to check where an email came from, i forget just now though... 'view email header' or something in if using outlook

Definitely a scam. I do bank with A&L and this is not the sort of thing they do. What the scammers want the victim to do is not to reply to the email, but to get on to the scam website they are trying to make llook like the A&L one("Click here to access your online profile" ), and enter their PINs etc

yeah, there are many a scam like this, i regularly see scams for all banks in my spam mail. I don't know if i have ever received a genuine email from a bank account, i am not sure if they ever do send emails. If anyone is in any doubt, ring them up from a number on their website
