hi its a ldv 400 engine but iam having a prob finding out what engine it is. it has o cam belt and it doesnt look like theres room on the block for a timing chain. could it be push rod. but i cant find anything to say what engine it is. anyone help.

thanks guys for your help the heads now off it was a push rod engine so no belts to mess about with. and just ordered the head gasket. so it might be done by next week. my dads having to use my van when iam fixing his lol. good deal or what.

anyone no the torque setting for the head bolts.

Be warned that the rear liner has a tendancy to drop when these engines get hot, slightest little amount and the new gasket will not last long. Get the radiator flushed as well as these tend to fur up quite badly leading to the overheating in the first place. Horrible things.
