I like it. Isn't their a production car where the needle changes colour at a set revs?

Never going to beat my VR2 though!

Cheers

Mike

Confused but excited. - 16/11/07 at 08:13 PM

Hmmmmmmmm.

Dangle_kt - 16/11/07 at 08:13 PM

it would look alot classier if just the needle changed colour IMO.

roadrunner - 16/11/07 at 08:18 PM

Why does it go red at 6500 revs, aint that just ticking over

yep

D Beddows - 16/11/07 at 09:11 PM

Do you even have to ask?

Humbug - 16/11/07 at 09:12 PM

why stop there... how about a locost with 1" ground clearance, LED underlighting round the whole bottom of the chassis, 18" or 20" chrome wheels with spinners and a huge amp and speaker set in the boot area?

Might as well go for an enormous spoiler on the back too.

actually i like it, especially if you could make it flash at a higher revs ......... integrated rev counter and shift lights.

(ok, i must be a chav)

RazMan - 16/11/07 at 10:29 PM

Perhaps a tad too bling for my taste but id the needle turned red then I would go for one ...... if I didn't have shift lights that is.

iank - 16/11/07 at 10:32 PM

I'm sure I've seen one of the top end tacho's with a needle that goes red as it hits the redline. More classy IMO.

And add a flicker lit snow man as well

speedyxjs - 17/11/07 at 09:08 AM

It would be better if it changed to red at the red line. Fortunately for me, my engine only revs to 6500

The SPA dash does this.
As for the production car, the M5 rev counter does something similar but it's erm, classier

Peteff - 17/11/07 at 10:06 AM

You'd have to sit in the dark revving the car for anyone to see it though so it seems a bit pointless, who does that ? Oh yes, I see the original title point now
