is york stone worth anything?
john_p_b - 24/11/07 at 11:56 AM

as title really, moved about 2 ton of the stuff around the garden twice now and i'm not willing to do it a 3rd time!

got various sized pieces from small handsized to break your back size! we pulled it all out from around a pond that was here when we moved in and i really don't think we have a use for it.

is it worth trying to sell or do i just start getting rid of it?

Stick it on ebay for 99p buyer collects. Worst case someone will take it away for free.

Everything is worth something to the right buyer. York stone is quite nice and costs a fair bit from garden centres. The problem is transportation. eBay would be my first choice or a local free ads paper.

Might be worth ringing your local building reclamation yard. York stone in this area was expensive last time I wanted some

As said, put it on ebay with a really low starting price for 10 day auction.
