rumour has it its a little too hot in corfu boss, in england its lovely and overcast, perfect weather for hard work and car building! no glaring sun, sweaty bodies, hangovers at tea time from drinking in the sun, sunburn, foolish foreigners, etc etc....

I love england and rain cant trust foreign cuisine either.

hope ur having fun chris! we need you actually, theres some crank keeps on repeating the same post over and over, needs his ass moderating, yeah!

Mark Allanson - 2/10/03 at 10:16 PM

Mark Allanson - 3/10/03 at 07:13 PM

Its all done on computers now, all I have to do is shake my head, tut a little, and say sod off when they ask for their excess to "worked in"!

Don't they realise that the insurance companies worked out that one in 1936

... and I say it in a diluted Yorkshire accent.. yes I was born in Chrisg land!

chrisg - 3/10/03 at 07:56 PM

Yes, keep it real!

Yorkshire accent and attitude, can't beat it.

Cheers

Chris

Any builders from Acomb, near York?

Northy - 4/10/03 at 07:57 AM

Don't know of any Mark. There is a guy building an Avon in Poppleton, and I'm in Malton, not a million miles away

Is that where your from?

Peteff - 4/10/03 at 12:26 PM

Rumour has is weather in the UK is crap but it's sunny here in Corfu.

It's lovely here in sunny Derbyshire, I've just got the car out to go for a spin. We are all used to the weather here and you've got to come back to it so don't get too cocky sunshine.

yours, Pete.

P.S. Beware of Greeks bearing gifts.

petef--"beware of greeks bearing gifts" shouldnt that be "beware of brits baring bots"?

Mark Allanson - 4/10/03 at 09:55 PM

Northy,

Yes I was born in York, both parents from acomb, moved to cornwall when I was 10.

Northy - 4/10/03 at 10:23 PM

The 'ball and chains' brother lives in Acomb. He's the fertile one of the family, with the triplets!
