saw this on tv few months ago and there was a guy who had spring loaded iron bars attached to the underside of his car which when the button was pressed shot out helicoptor rotor style ...............................just about mid shin height!

there was some guy in this country, if I remember correctly, who wired up a sheep electric fence generator to his car as an anti-theft device.

problem was plod saw some bits of foil or whatever dangling under the car and investigated (thought it was a car bomb?) and got shocked.

think the long arm of the law gave him a hefty slap for that.

Mate of mine got banged up for booby trapping his garage door after it'd been broken into a few times.

Rigged up a 8' length of iron sewer pipe with smashed (ie, sharp) end to swing out when you opened the door!

Unfortunately because he'd called the police a few times about it one of them came over to check all was ok, opened the door and got a belly full of serrated old waste pipe! Strangely enough it didn't go down too well!!!

Well, after a couple of weeks in hospital I believe he survived!
It wasn't old waste pipe by accident you know! Several kilos of poo encrusted pipe forced into your stomach/abdomen is never gonna do anyone too much good!

I think they were pressing for attempted murder on grounds that at the height it got the copper it'd have got a kid in the face!

My mate got away scott free in the end tho!
