Can anyone give their opinions/ experiences of Zafira 2.0DTI cars of about 2000-2003 year.
Reliability,fuel economy etc.

hi mate i run a 54 plate GSI and its been any probs at all

i logged on to www.astraownersclub.com be for buying it and i went on the fourm asked all about them and there wear veay frendly and help full

the dti engine suffers with the following
duel mass flywheel/clutch replacment £1000 ish
weak fuel pump £800ish
injector seals go bad starting £300
fuel return pipes brake down £100

but saying that mine did over 150k before i killed it

bit under powered at 100ps and tuning chips around the £500 mark

you would be better off spending a little more and get the 1.9 in either 120 or 150, i can sell you a tuning box to give you and extra 30bhp on either engine.
