Did i imagine it, or did i just see a banner ad for a Gay dating agency at the top of the page?
No problem with it mind, live & let live is my motto, just seemed a bit out of place on locostbuilders, can't imagine many on here wanting to subscribe, LOL

but they have a free compatbility test! lets take it!

also, they've been putting in 30yrs of research to find the right person for me! i'm only 25... and i don't go that way, so they've just wasted the last 30 years!

no, just no, trust me you imagined it.......... as I recall the last time something similar came up the resulting thread made the worst 'I've had a problem with GTS Tuning' threads look like a minor insignificance

since you ask! contributions by some long lost members was controvertial whilst on the front page.

its a bit like spot the missing posts now, a few member deleted all their posts since that one was active

Just read that thread, it was quite interesting but at the same time I wasn't at all surprised by the reactions of this "community" it's a shame that people deleted there posts (and always is IMO) as that would have made it more of a story than a one-sided report...

Not seen it myself Al. Must be the avatar that is attracting that sort of ad!

Having read the other thread.. all 16 pages.. found it both entertaining and informative...I am a middle brother with both my older and younger brothers being gay... I am more frightened of the fact that my younger brother took one look at the Aeon in the garage and said, "I have only three words to say to you, MID LIFE CRISIS".
I am an ex-biker, due to 3 fairly badly broken legs (yeah..yeah most people only have 2...etc.etc.) That happened in my mid twenties and because I stopped looking at bikes (I knew I would get another one if I didn't) I got interested in cars.
I found they were pretty boring on the whole and the only interesting ones were too expensive....Then I discovered a solution, like most of the people on this forum... THE KIT CAR WORLD (without trying to create a whole new stereotype)..
I think the middle age thing is like most of the men's hobbies in the world that requires some sort of financial input... the kids are growing/grown up.. the diy is done(or you've worked out what you can do and whats better if you get a proffesional to do it) so you've got the money and some spare time.. I could've started a car 15 years ago but would still not have got it finished because of all the things higher up the list...
I have had the Aeon about 14 months but havn't touched it because I still have a few things to do round the house... the decking... wiring... etc.etc.. as to a fast car impressing some young thing.. a trip to your local club or any of the shows proves they are more likely to attract mainly men (be they straight/bi or gay) with the same interests with the occasional long suffering wife/girlfriend in tow....

DANG how's that for stereotyping
