Does anyone know wot it costs to rent a pipe bender? wanting to do my exhaust, i can get the material through work but will need it bending, any
ideas?
im in west yorks.
well apparently they don't work very well on thin tube as it just buckles and are only any good on cage stuff. But I've never given it a go as I just buy bends.
i thought it was cheap benders that dont work well, the ones that just push a former into the side of a tube. Proper ones pull it round a former and work very well.
I did a linky for a very cheap bender a while ago, if you don't have a wood lathe - bolt the wood onto the rear axle an run the engine for a
locost lathe
